Land deal won’t affect medical research

The University of Sydney attracted criticism in the headlines last week when they entered into a land deal with St John’s Residential College. Under the agreement, the University cannot conduct approved therapeutic cloning research on the site purchased from the Catholic Organisation. But as Associate Professor Maria Cavalaris from the Australian Society for Medical Research tells Radio Adelaide’s Jonathon Brown, the agreement won’t have a negative impact.
