Today, the Brisbane City Labor team announced if elected they would make Brisbane carbon neutral by 2050, but not everyone agrees this policy is achievable.

Labor in Brisbane is committed to spending $27.5 million dollars to reduce carbon emissions in the Brisbane city area and want to grow more trees in Brisbane’s CBD to mitigate the heat.

The Greens say this is a token effort and want to invest more in active travel such as bike paths.
