The Labor Party has committed to fund the future of digital radio on community stations around the country after a spirited campaign from the sector.

It comes after a 5.6 million dollar cut made to community radio funding by Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull in his first Federal Budget.

And not a moment too soon, with today being the National Day of Action for the “Keep the Community in Your Radio” campaign.
