Mia Cusack is an Australian Volunteer for International Development and worked in Fiji’s Ministry of Health as Digital Communications Officer in 2013. During her time there, she co-produced the'Khana Kakana Cook Book', to help improve the health and well being of the Fijian community.

Fiji is known for its natural beauty and abundance in fresh, local produce… so it may surprise you to hear that eighty per cent of deaths in the island country are related to non-communicable diseases or NCDs, such as diabetes, heart disease and cancer.
