The Middle East sometimes feels like a world away but the Kuwaiti government is trying to bring it closer for Australian journalists. It has funded a scholarship program for eleven journalists to promote fair and balanced reporting of Middle Eastern affairs. The journalists had to file a story everyday but could only go through their minder to get contacts for the stories. Having just returned home, Tamzin Byrne talks about her experience in Kuwait.
