Treaties and the future of the Stronger Futures legislation are issues that many Aboriginal people living in the Northern Territory are hoping the major parties will consider during this election period. Aboriginal Elder from Utopia, Rosalie Kunoth-Monks, who has campaigned fiercely against Stronger Futures and the Intervention, has decided to take matters into her own hands and is bidding for a seat in the Senate. Journalist and former foreign correspondent, Jeff McMullen, has spent years covering Indigenous rights issues here in Australia and abroad, and is travelling around the country to support Rosalie in her campaign.
