In the latest from Japan, the Japanese government says it has no choice but to keep pouring water into reactors at the Fukushima nuclear plant to limit a huge meltdown, despite fears this could cause highly radioactive leaks. Katsuya Soda lives in Kyoto, which is 100km from the site of the recent nuclear disaster. Two weeks after the initial incident, he says bottled water is selling out in the shops and people are panicking about what the future holds for the country, it’s industry and it’s people.
