The Israeli government is crippling the Palestinian economy. That’s according to Harvard academic and expert on Palestinian affairs, Sara Roy. In Roy’s latest paper, she says that changes over the last eight years to infrastructure, the economy, and the demography in Israel and the Occupied Territories have been unprecedented. She says that the Palestinians have suffered losses not seen since the beginning of Israeli occupation in 1967, and arguably, since the losses of 1948. Dr. Roy is in Australia to deliver the annual Edward Said lecture at Adelaide University.
