Prime Minister Tony Abbott’s new cabinet was announced yesterday, amid a storm of controversy over the lack of female ministers. However, women may not be the only losers in an Abbott-led government. The PM’s cabinet is noticeably missing portfolios relating to areas such as mental health and youth issues, leading people to question Abbott’s intentions. So, is Abbott just simplifying the titles, or will this affect service delivery as well?
