Iran is increasingly presented as the big new threat to world security, with the US insisting that it is secretly developing nuclear weapons. Dr William Beeman is an American academic and author of “The Great Satan versus the Mad Mullahs”, a book dealing with the relationship between the two countries. He insists that the supposed nuclear threat from Iran is a US invention and that the country has been given a clean bill of health by investigators from the International Atomic Energy Commission.
