According to a recent report, QUMAX programs aimed at closing the gap in access to medicine and health services for Indigenous Australians are working. Despite this, Indigenous Australians living in remote and regional communities still receive forty percent less than non-Indigenous Australians in pharmaceutical benefits, which means many of them are still going without basic prescription medications.
