Dr Kooshyar Karimi is an Irannian Jew whose life reads like a thriller. Kidnapped by the Iranian intelligence, tortured and forced to spy on fellow Jews, he eventually escaped to Turkey and has ended up being accepted as a refugee in Australia.

He says he’s written his life story, I Confess, as atonement for the  things he was forced to do in Iran.He is now dealing with a further crisis, having found his mother in Iran has been arrested because of his book.
