Many Indigenous groups travelled to Canberra as a part of the convergence leading up to today’s apology. Walter Shaw, an Indigenous Australian from the NT and staff member of Alice Springs Tangentyere Council, brought a group a 20 Australians affected by the intervention to try and get his message across to the current Government.
