Recently several legal cases have been brought up by doctors, barristers and entrepreneurs over bad reviews about their professional work under the context of ‘defamation’. In certain situations, these cases have been brought against Google under the claims that the tech giant has failed to prevent the spreading of defamatory online comments and reviews.

This could possibly spell out the death of remaining anonymous in an online space, and put an end to internet defamation and griefing alike, which some see as the start of Google needing to change the way they operate and handle their reviews.
