International media complicit in Hong Kong protest blackout

As thousands of Democracy protesters are tear-gassed in Hong Kong Central, many Chinese have no idea anything is afoot. And the cover up doesn’t just stop at the state sponsored media, even Western Media outlets such as the Wall Street Journal and Reuters have censored their Chinese language websites. All while maintaining coverage for international audiences. This discrepancy was pointed out by Chinese censorship watchdog GreatFire.Org. And while WSJ and Reuters have come around, what will it take to keep them informing their readers?
