A pilot program being tested by the Griffith University Intergenerational Care Project in NSW and Queensland is focused on provide social support for children aged three to five and older adults who have dementia. Children will talk, play and support the elderly to unite the generations. The researchers are investigating the educational, workforce and economic benefits of the alternative care option.
