The Reserve Bank has lifted interest rates by 25 basis points in what is beleived to be the first of a number of rises to come this year. Economists in the main have not been surprised by this move, as housing prices have continued to rise and Australia has weathered the global financial crisis in reasonably good shape. But is it plain sailing from here?
