Indigenous seasonal knowledge from generations has come together with savvy multimedia design in the form of an interactive online seasonal calendar created by ethnobotanist Lorraine Williams and the CSIRO. The calender focuses on the indigenous Larrakia language of Darwin and its surrounding regions, and the ecological knowledge of that country.

The calendar features moving graphics and sounds bytes of knowledge about weather and climate events, animal behaviours, and plants, with a glossary of corresponding Larrakia words. Creators of the calender, including Emma Woodward, Research Scientist at the CSIRO, hope it will be used as an educational resource within the Australian Science Curriculum.
