China and Australia have agreed to step up co-operation on infrastructure projects, in a move signals a desire to move the economic relationship beyond the resources sector. The deal was signed by Chinese Commerce minister Chen Deming and the minister for infrastructure and transport, Anthony Albanese at parliament house in Canberra. The agreement is intended to assist potential investors in navigating the laws and regulations in both countries, and also sets up a working group to strengthen government and industry relationships in the area.
