Indonesian elections are always loud and colourful. Next monday Indonesians vote in their parliamentary elections and the parties who do well get to nominate a candidate for the Presidential elections in a few weeks time. That will be the first time Indonesians get to vote for their president directly. Jay Lamey asked Indonesian expert Stephen Sherlock what the new system means for Indonesia.
