El Nino is building and that means a bad year for what has become the Indonesian fire season. Indonesia is almost equal to the US in CO2 emissions in the run-up to the Paris climate change conference with their fires. Logging has reduced Kalimantan (Borneo) to 20% of its native rainforest but it is the canal draining of the degraded peat that is fire prone, consistently smouldering to create a smoke cloud over 4 countries.
