Public support for constitutional recognition widespread

This week, Vote Compass data has shown that 72 per cent of Australians support change to the national constitution to recognise Indigneous people as Australia’s first inhabitants.

But there has been opposition from Indigenous groups towards constitutional recognition, in favour of a treaty.
