You may have heard during the bushfire season last year that Indigenous knowledge in the fire management could be beneficial for future bushfires, or different ways Indigenous people use techniques for water irrigation systems.

These are just examples of ancient Indigenous technologies used in every day tasks that non-Indigenous Australians might overlook. Now, Indigenous technologies are being acknowledged in different areas (such as holistic medicine), and they are starting to be studied and researched.
