Starting in the early 1900s, for over 70 years the Queensland government held the wages of indigenous people in the workforce with a very tiny amount of the money ever being seen by its rightful owners. Not satisfied with the compensation provided over the last decade, a class action lawsuit was started yesterday to return the money to whom it belongs.
