The four-day National Nutrition Networks Conference has started in Alice Springs today, bringing together professionals and community leaders from across Australia to discuss the issue of inadequate nutrition within Indigenous communities. Attending the conference was Sharon Lawrence, representing the National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Nutrition Strategy and Action Plan, who says that the key to good nutrition starts in the womb.
