Beyond Blue recently launched an advertising campaign to make people stop and think about how discriminatory behavior affects indigenous people, but this is only the first of many steps towards tackling this big problem.

New data has shown that Indigenous Australians are twice as likely to die by suicide than non-Indigenous Australians. This week is World Mental Health Week and people are being encouraged to open up and talk about mental health. However, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island people are often left out of the discussion, despite having disturbingly high rates of depression and suicide.
