Legal aid funding to the Aboriginal Legal Rights Movement in South Australia has been static since 1996, whereas mainstream legal aid funding has more than doubled. The federal government says the issue out of their hands… the South Australian government says it’s not their responsibility… CEO of the Aboriginal Legal Rights Movement, Neil Gillespie, has lodged a formal complaint to the UN, saying the governments are being discriminatory.
