An Aboriginal run property in Northern NSW has been sold by the Indigenous Land Corporation (or ILC) to non- Indigenous farmers. Activist Michael Anderson claims the sale was fraudulent, as traditional owners weren’t consulted. The ILC is responsible for buying and re-distributing land to Indigenous people for economic and social benefits. So why is a body that exists to put land into Indigenous hands selling property to white farmers?
