A peak Indigenous Education body accuses the major parties of offering no insight into how they’ll improve the sector in their election campaigns so far. President of the National Indigenous Post-Graduate Association, Vicki-Anne Speechley Golden says solutions for the low retention and graduation rate of Aboriginal students have not rated a mention. And she’s not convinced about Labor’s promise to roll back the 25 percent increase to HECS fees. Ms Speechley-Golden assesses the policies on offer.
