The rumour mill is still promoting the idea that Deputy Prime Minister and federal National Party Leader John Anderson wants to leave politics. His New South Wales seat of Gwydir delivered him more than 60 percent of the vote at the last election. But local indigenous man and sheep breeder Michael Anderson has pout his hand up as the Greens candidate for Gwydir – and says he’s ready for a fight.
