Indigenous film and television makers from remote parts of Central Australia are converging on Hamilton Downs, 70 Km NorthWest of Alice Springs today, for day one of a three day conference to network and share ideas, organised by the NT Film Office. Organiser Penny McDonald says people from the Territory, SA and WA are involved, with large Aboriginal media organisations represented as well. Top End radio broadcaster “Big Frank” is upbeat about the opportunities ahead for Indigenous film makers and multi media creators.
