Indigenous employment groups welcome Coalition funding

The Coalition has announced that it plans to create job opportunities for 5000 Indigenous Australians. Opposition leader Tony Abbott says he will provide $45 million dollars to support the Generation One employment model.

Generation One aims to give Indigenous people guaranteed jobs through practical training.The group has welcomed the additional funding but is pushing for bipartisan support on the issue of high rates of Indigenous unemployment.
