World leaders and tens of thousands of mourners are gathering in Soweto to remember the life of Nelson Mandela. A Johannesburg stadium is expected to be filled with dignitaries from across the world.
Prime Minister Tony Abbott will be in attendance alongside United States President Barack Obama and United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon. It comes as Indigenous leaders in Australia also pay their respects to the anti-apartheid leader.
