What do Indigenous Australians get from the Budget?

Last year, thousands of Aboriginal community controlled organisations close due to the introduction of the Indigenous Advancement Strategy- the Governments new approach in dealing with first nations peoples.

A significant amount of funding was reallocated to the portfolio of the Prime Minister and Cabinet with little in the way of new funding.

The Government said they were setting a clear agenda for creating a pathway to employment for Indigenous Australians. But how much has the program achieved and what other initiatives have we seen in Aboriginal affairs in this year’s budget?
