At the 43rd UNESCO World Heritage Committee over the weekend, the Budj Bim Cultural Landscape, which is an ancient Indigenous aquaculture system located in south-west Victoria, was inscribed onto UNESCO’s World Heritage List.

In this report, Lachlan MacPherson speaks with a Gunditjmara Elder, a Budj Bim Ranger and the Glenelg Shire Mayor about what this listing means to the community and our country.
