India’s first queer radio station tackles taboos

Homosexuality and other LGBTIQ issues are considered taboo in many countries and cultures, and India is no exception. But Q Radio, a new radio station based in Bangalore, is purpose built for the queer community. The station broadcasts over the internet in both Hindi and English, and aims to give the LGBTIQ community a voice, and foster dialogue with the wider Indian community.
