Today, The Indian High Court has scrapped Section 377, which punished homosexual activity for up to 10 years in jail. In a historical decision, the LGBTIQ community and advocates are very pleased with this decision.

However, the LGBTIQ community still face many challenges, especially in rural areas in India.

The historical decision will start a conversation about sexuality and acceptance in India.
