Indian cinema has made an indelible mark on the world’s cinema stage. Rakesh Mehra’s film, Rang De Basanti has been chosen as India’s official entry for Best Foreign Picture at next year’s Academy Awards. The Mumbai-based director was in Sydney last week to attend the opening night of the Indian FIlm Festival, where his film screened.
