Six Iraqi asylum seekers on Nauru have gone on a hunger strike. Migration Agent Marion Le has just returned from the island and says although detainees’ spirits are very low and there are many health issues she doesn’t beleive a hunger strike will achieve anything. She is also extremely sceptical that the two- boat Flotilla of Hope will have any hope of landing and actually seeing the detainees.
