Burnout was recently renamed as an “occupational phenomenon” by the World Health Organisation (WHO).

But why is it a phenomenon?

Well, a recent Gallup study of nearly 7,500 full-time employees found that 23 percent reported feeling burned out at work very often or always. It’s more of an epidemic.

Many different factors combine to cause burnout and work dissatisfaction.
