On October 19, 2001, a boat now known as the SIEV X sunk on route ot Australia and 353 asylum seekers went down with it. The Australian Government immediately pointed the finger at ruthless international people smugglers. But ex-diplomat Tony Kevin says there are shadows of Australian Government involvement all over the SIEV X tragedy. He says ther was a clear and so far successful attempt by authorities to cover up the truth and wants a full Royal Commission into the incident.
