A campaign by workers which began in Sydney in the early 1970’s was a turning point in the international environmental movement. Without it Sydney would look like a very different place today. Jack Mundey was the leader of the campaign, known as ‘Green Bans’ which is being remembered at a May Day celebration in Adelaide.
