The United Nation Women’s theme for International Women’s Day this year is, “change her future, together we can stop violence against women and girls”. A fitting focus when one in three women around the world will experience some form of sexual violence. In places like Papua New Guinea, as many as 100 per cent of women report experiencing sexual or physical violence. So what can we do to care for and protect these women in Australia and internationally?
