As the worst drought in living memory ravages the Horn of Africa, millions of people are on the move. Rachel Palmer from Save the Children has just left Somalia for Kenya where the largest refugee camp in the world is struggling to accommodate almost half a million refugees. Speaking from the Somalia-Kenya border, Rachel told The Wire’s Chris Brunner that the situation is going from bad to worse. Yet, Rachel has seen enough children come back from the brink of starvation to be at least a little hopeful for the future.
