Usually when families are separated by time and distance a telephone call is a good opportunity to catch up on everything that has been happening in the others life… but it’s not that simple for the Hicks family. David Hicks has been held in detention at Guantanamo Bay for four and half years and last Friday was given the opportunity to contact his parents; the first time in seven months. David’s father Terry spoke with the wire about his eagerly anticipated conversation.
