Mandatory reporting of underage sex in the Northern Territory has public health officials to joining their voices in protest. Changes in the law mean that everyone – doctors, nurses, brothers, sisters, friends… are all required to report underage sex, even if it’s consensual. The law was enacted in December last year, but health officials have been protesting the changes ever since.
