Eight months on from the Brexit vote and the future is still unknown, with the UK Government about to take the next step toward negotiations.

The issue remains divisive in the public and a report released this week by the Press Association in the UK supports previous suggestions that hate crimes have increased dramatically since the vote in June last year.

The figures show the reporting of hate crimes has increased to record levels in the months following Brexit.

The number for the July to September quarter had risen to 14,295 from 10,793 in the same period in 2015.
