New research reveals the majority (86%) of Australian businesses believe that the career prospects of employees are limited if they work from home, but only just over half (56%) of employees are aware of this.

Hybrid arrangements remain the main working model in Australia, yet employees are bracing for the shift back to full time office working, with just over a third (34%) revealing they believe this will take place by 2025.

The Wire’s Aryana Mohmood spoke with Emma Foster-Mitrovski, the CEO of Unispace Across Australia and New Zealand about these findings: particularly the career prospects of remote workers and the growing disconnection between Australian employees and employers.
