The Wire

The much anticipated debate between Democrat candidate and Vice President Kamala Harris and Republican former President Donald Trump, took place in Philadelphia today.  The format included two journalists who had the power of turning off the microphones of the candidates.

It was an opportunity for many people to see how Kamala Harris performed – and it did appear that her week long preparation had paid dividends.  Donald Trump hit hard on the issue of illegal immigrants, and Harris hit back on his weakness on the abortion issue.  There is only 56 days to go, and it looks as though the race to the White House will go down to the wire.
