The ACTU and state unions have called today for building company Hardy’s to fully compensate victims. ACTU president Sharan Burrows says the current offer for a statutory body to be set up for compensation would limit payouts and prevent victims from taking their cases to court. She says if the demands aren’t met unions in Australia and overseas will take tough action.
